Based on the experiences and knowledge gained within the SCALIBUR project, the Collaborating Centre for Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) produced manuals to help you take action for the uptake of biowaste recycling solutions in your town!

SCALIBUR’s core objective is to promote innovative approaches to collection, sorting and recycling of urban biowaste in Europe. If you want to play an active role in converting biowaste into high-value added products, transforming linear resource chains into circular loops where biowaste becomes an input in generating a new product, this manual is for you!

To achieve this objective, it is crucial to identify and engage all relevant stakeholders along the biowaste value chain. Building on the stakeholder engagement process facilitated in SCALIBUR’s pilot cities and regions, this manual provides you with step-by-step guidance to identify stakeholders, understand their motivations, bring them together for exchange and discussion, find opportunities for action, and finally mobilise them for change!
